Yes and no. The reason the writing is so poor is because the story is segmented into spinoffs, instead of one consolidated narrative.

how can you comment on the writing when you havent played all the games? That makes no sense. It is all one narrative, its one continuous story. As a guy whos played them all, the story still would be all over the place whether it was multiplat or not

Because the story is not the writing. When people refer to "the writing," it usually refers to the way the story is told. It's the way things are explained, or presented.

And the way Kingdom Hearts presents its story is really poor because it's not often in the habit of explaining things, especially those things the player needs to know, in the game where that info is relevant.

And you believe it would have been better if all the games were on one system? That wouldnt make it better, it would save some people money, but that has no bearing on the story at all.
