Do you need an emotional connection to have sex with someone?

I wouldn't sleep with someone just because they would let me. I have refused sex on a few occasions. Its a mixed bag. When i am emotionally connected to someone it feels completely different to when i am not.

When i have sex with someone with no emotional attachment its just sex, i dont really feel anything for them. Its strange, i never thought about this before. I dont know how to explain it. Maybe its kinda like i would not consider them as much during sex like i would with someone i liked.

I also do not like having sex with friends. Its weird.
