Pretty much stating the obvious. As mentioned by others exclusive and simplicity is why people buy consoles. For some like myself consoles are a break from the PC. This might seem strange to some but to me it applies.
I built a PC for gaming but eventually lost interest. After spending all day at the office sitting in front of a PC I really didn't want to be constantly using one at home. PC is work and communication. Doing sports, going out and console are fun. As I said it's a personal thing. If I worked on a building site maybe I would have a different outlook.
All the games that interest me are on consoles. All the games I like are rarely on the PC. To me the power factor is a "nothing of significance".
