It will never happen 3ds sale are pretty good it just disappointed compared to ds.
Vita fail because it dosn't have any big games any other console would have the same problem if it dosn't have big game it dosn't have anything to do with smartphones.
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
