People has been talking about Nintendo death since 1996... and it´s still in the business, with the best seller game dedicated device (3ds) right now and a lot of money in the bank

It´s clear that the WiiU is suffering, but we must take into account that this holiday it will be the cheapest of the big three home consoles and with lots of popular franchises coming. So it will have some market life.

Nintendo itself will never die, they can always make money with their IPs, but if someday it quits (and I bet this will happen someday with EVERY console maker) it will probably continue to make games for PCs and whatever device people will be using to play. And making money with IPs licences
