What apple really needs is to push for a full day battery. The line will have the be bulkier. But people want better batteries. Everything else is not important to upgrade. If They can make a battery that can last with everything at full power (WIFI/3-4G/Bluetooth enabled), that would sell. How much fatter can it really be anyway? The iPod Touch, which is rediculessly too thin to begin with. Putting in 3 of those battery packs would equal a day. The only other avenue is space. But since flash chips are still expensive. That is not a option. They could also see if they can put Siri on the device. So you don't need to use the freaking internet.
