Riddick is more of an antihero sort of character, but in the earlier films he actually goes out of his way a lot to protect a girl specifically.   a sort of dangerous renegade but you still felt that he had some morals.  even in this film he has this close relationship with an animal he befriends and raises.   you see a side that isnt anything like the brutal killer aspect of him.   but then he made those comments towards her and i was really taken aback by it.

i dont think i will go see another riddick film if they make one nor will i see any film with vin diesel or katee sackhoff.  either actor could have forced a change.
