If you can find it, The World Ends With You is a pretty neat modern-day RPG. Controls might be a turn-off, but if you get hooked by the story like I did, then it's hard to put down.

And yeah, SMT is tough. I found it to be rewarding, though, and the story took some surprisingly thoughtful turns.

I keep hearing good things about TWEWY so I guess I should look into it! It's a shame about Fire Emblem because I like most of the characters and the gameplay but oh well. I'll probably read through that book that came with SMT to get me back into it since I was really excited to try a SMT game thats not Persona but getting owned like that was disheartening lol
