The only way to know how much 2DS sells independent of the rest of the 3DS family is to wait for NPD results and see if they or Nintendo mention 2DS-specific figures come November/ December.
I actually think it'll be pretty close. 2DS will greatly help sales of 3DS, of course with the aide of Pokemon X/Y. PS4 is projected for what, 3 million before the end of 2013? 2DS could easily do that globally between Oct and December. Don't underestimate the power of cheap parents and a $129.99 price tag.
