A summary for those lazy ones here :D
Singapore-based Newkia was formed the same day the US$7.2 billion Microsoft-Nokia deal was announced, with the sole aim of acquiring Nokia employees and know-how but focusing on the Android platform.
A lot of employees were not happy with Nokia not supporting Android before, a decision which ultimately led to it's demice and it's decreased value. Nokia was worth 200 Billion Dollars in the year 2000.
