Is the Vita a "Game Gear 2"?

Vita's line-up is solid, but hasn't had the steady stream of major releases that 3DS has gotten this year. Much less major exclusives. Much less killer apps.

Plenty of good niche games, though! It may not come close to PSP sales levels, but I think it'll recapture a good chunk of its market. It's not all doom and gloom.
