I really don't see why people still think this is worth discussing.
Over generation 7 (and to a lesser extent 6) art style replaced raw graphical detail as what I find most graphically appealing in a game. A sea of gun-metal gray shooters running Unreal 3 will do that to a guy. For me, the real question is if the weakest system (the Wii U, obviously) can run an open world environment with late-life PS360 graphics (because after that, we're talking art style, not graphical fidelity.) The answer is a rather obvious yes, therefore I really don't care how many teraflops I'm "missing out on." I don't think it'll actually add that much to my experience.
