PLN is the currency in Poland. As of today $1 is 3.27 PLN, 1 Euro is 4.30 PLN, but in games we usually have a fix rate at 1 Euro = 4 PLN. I didn't want to bother you with that, just wanted to give you a look at the differences in prices, which sure as hell aren't working in Vita's favour, especially since the prices haven't changed since the cut.

I always thought you(poland) already has the euro,i knew danemark still kept their old currency..And let me give you this advice:keep the PLN as the Euro will crash every country in the next 5 years to sub 2nd world standards.

but a ps3 for 140 euro sounds good.but 250 for vita is way too much.

We still have our own currency (it's called złoty). Our current government has been doing its utmost to introduce Euro cause they are bloody idiots (they wanted to introduce it all the way back in 2011 but it didn't really work out, haha). Luckily the current polls show that they should lose power soon and the opposition won't even consider introducing Euro, so the threat should be away for quite some time. As you can see, I'm strongly against it, as the majority of Poles ;)

as far as i know the prices for consumer electronics in you country are usually a bit off, is that correct?

They are a bit different, very often they are a bit lower, considering 1 Euro is 4.30 PLN, but we usually get a fixed exchange rate at 1 Euro = 4 PLN. That's why the official recommended retail price of Vita was 999 (250x4 with a nice ending ;) ) and not what it really should be. I hope to buy my PS4 for 1599 and not the real value of 399 Euro :P

Back on topic - I really find it sad that Vita is still at the old price, considering PS3 is at exactly 140 Euro and I'm talking about the regular price in Media Markt, not some special sale or an online shop. I hope Sony reacts and does something with it.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
