I found the stealth of TLoU atrocious. Seriously, the gameplay is solid, but the stealth is not

I just played hitman a full stealth game and thet stealth in that game was worse, totally disagree. What was wrong? I never had a single issue. The game also always made you feel vunerable with low supplies and gaving to sneak, use melee often (The melee was excellent), the gunplay is also excellent.
