So I went to the biggest game store in my city (Łódź) to buy Killzone Mercenary - my first ever retail game :) And I have news, good and bad.
Good first. When I approached the stand, there were 4 copies of KZM on display, I grabbed one and started looking at it. After like 3 seconds a little kid run in front of me and grabbed another copy and went straight to the exit to buy it. This is the first time I've seen anyone buy a Vita game! This got me really excited about the sales of KZM :) They may actually be good. I hope KZM will challenge Uncharted in sales at one point.
Now the bad stuff. No wonder we haven't seen the pricecut doing much for Vita, because... The price hasn't even budged! It's been almost 2 weeks since the pricecut and the prices are still the same :( And they are really, really discouraging if you compare them to other consoles. You have to pay 999 PLN for a Vita, 439 PLN for a PSP and only 599 PLN for a PS3 (!!!) - that's exactly 140 Euro for a PS3. Vita should cost 799 PLN maximum at this point :/ What's the use of announcing a cut if the shops do not apply it?
At least Vita games are prices really nicely, most of them in the 13-25 Euro spectrum and I mean some really good games (LBP, NFS, Soul Sacrifice, Uncharted, etc.).
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
