Right. LA's plot wasn't exceedingly dramatic or "epic", but it was simple, strange, and shockingly effective. And the level design is still among the best in the series, if only because there isn't much wasted space in the overworld. Everything wasn't too far away, and it still had a good amount of content. And not a whole lot of filler.
