The way his response is worded doesn't sound like they will have more than enough stock at launch to cover pre-orders and those that walk in on launch day to purchase without a pre-order. His response sounds like they have limited stock for launch day, and that they are trying to strike a balance between pre-orders units and non-pre-ordered units.
