With the Skype integration and 1080P video conference, I can easily be watching a game and hook right up with my brother. Just last year, we were watching the NBA playoffs and talking to each other on the phone as the game was playing. For people who family and friends are all over the country, this is a very nice feature I love playing games because I purchase every system but I am getting to the age where I need more for my money. I am waiting for Sony to show me what they can do besides games because currently I see no reason to purchase the PS4 at launch. My game catalog is pretty big that by the time I get finish it will be next year. |
I know. Back when the Bears won the Super Bowl in 1986 I was away at school and I would call my father during and after each and every game that season. I would have loved the ability to have a Skype call with him during the game. Now my oldest just went away to school and my sister lives 5 states away. This will be very nice, not just for me, but my whole family.
Yet I think I know what the issue is. It seems a lot of people also believe consoles get tired from playing games and if they dont get a rest when you arent playing a game they wont recover.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
