Then add the fact that no games were shown...and you see the overlap diminish.

There is more to the market than people who watch the NFL and play video games. Are you forgetting about parents who may be buying their kids a video game system for the holiday season? Now a parent can look at the XboxOne and see that it has uses for both the children and themselves and feel more inclined to purchase it over the PS4.

Were they supposed to show a picture of Forza 5 at the end to make it a better ad?
