Nothing surprising. Nintendo asked (maybe?) to some third parties (which I honestly doubt) for the development of the Wii U, but not every third party. Plus, they wanted to convice them to develop for it once the console launched or just few months before its launch.

Seems like this won't be fixed ever.

Unless 3rd parties want to throw more money at a SKU that is so different and they do have finite money. And unless ninty is going to change how they do things which they are not then no it wont be "fixed"

what is their to fix really? Nothing has really changed. It looks like if you're a Ninty fan and you dont want to miss out on a lot of games. PS xbox or PC you have to get. Thats the way it is, deal. If you dont care about 3rd party games then stick to Ninty and nothing has changed. If you dont care about Ninty games then stick to one of hte other machines nothing has changed.

Yep. A PC will be the smartest way and from now on being excited in new handheld/homeconsole solely because first party and the few exclusive third parties. It is like Nintendo simply don't want to fix it.

IMHO, Ninty was never intersted in fixing anyting. THey sure as hell burned a lot of bridges with N64, GC they seemed to actually try and for my money it had the best 3rd party support of the post SNES era. Wii had the most but god they were mostly shovelware, thats cool if that was your thing, but if you wanted to get the lasted goodies from third parties, you were SOL. WIi U is still very early, but i dont know, It looked great at launch, but games got cancelled and there was bunch of droughts, its looking worse than WIi. At least with that it had the shovelware to make it look like it was gettng something.
