Not sure i get the hate on the price, especially if they give the free game at launch. Either way, IF you can afford a PS4, you can afford a XB1. Both cost a crapload of money and money each month if you want online capabilities. Like most have said, it really comes down to if you want the sports car (PS4) or the Sports car with the fancy radio(XB1). The XB1's extra capabilities only matter to a certain crowd. Besides that crowd, most other people will buy based on habits and price. Either way, the $100 won't matter to the core gamers in the first year. Most of them will pay whatever price Sony/M$ puts on their consoles and then spend hundreds more on games and accessories.
