I have high hopes that Sony will announce Japan/Asia release for this year (late December).
It is all about production volume of each console... % of good chips are better for Sony than MS.
I'm sure if MS didn't have any issue with production they should started the production months ago and set a early date for release... MS really tried to launch before Sony in US.
