Bad generalization, bad sarcasm. Good job failing twice.

@areason does have a point the vast majority of people do not buy a console for launch line-up games otherwise we would have 50 Million consoles buoght within the first year, to put it simply it would not be that smart for a console to blow its load with the launch line-up and instead just have a steady stream of games.
But you also have a point in how it does effect peoples descisions in wheather to get either or in the terms of choice. At the launch just make sure you pay for something that will satisfy you through out the generation instead of something that will satisfy your gaming needs for just the first couple of years, as i made that mistake this previous generation.

Well, of course line ups have both an impact and a limited one. Point is how strong is the impact per system and the variation is surprising from one system to the other.

And regarding his comment, unlike yours, it was an extreme generalization.
