Downplay it all you want but this brings up a serious concern. If Famitsu dared to give Capcom's biggest release a 38, then what was its real score? How much did they bump it up before they were scared of losing their last vestige of credibility? A 40 leaves room for guessing; it might have been a 38 or a 39, after all, on its own. A straight-up 38? Yeah, scary.
