It's just the pre-launch hype. PS4 doesn't offer anything more than new games, better graphics, and a faster OS. PS4 will probably sell 80-85 million by the time PS5 is released. PS1 played music cds (and cds in general for games as well), PS2 DVDs (new technology), PS3 Blu Ray (new technology), PS4 (last gen technology with decent 4K upscaling). I would'nt be surprised if PS5 uses new disc-based media. That'll be a revolutionary console. 4K discs anyone?
