You mean you want Sony and M$ to agree on a 3rd party taking all the $$$ from an accessorie?  What you need is the makers of the Oculus to split the profit of the sales of each unit with Sony/M$.  That would be the only way both companies would agree.  That and a indefinite agreement to sell the tech on their systems.

Yes some sort of licensing agreement. That and if they both endorsed the OR, that would mean more reason for more devs to support it, which would mean more games for us to potentially enjoy with virtual reality tech.
