PC - Hundreds and hundreds of AAA titles, and it still keeps getting the biggest amount of good games nowadays (easily the best 2008 lineup). The best game versions, modding, customization and the best control scheme makes the PC Heaven for hardcore gamers.
Wii - Refreshing controls and Nintendo games. Lots of quirky games but the Wii still has ways to go to fulfill most of it's potential. My favorite Console this gen and it's also part of what I think is THE best combo Wii+PC.
PS3 - Not many exclusives that stand out, and you'll have to wait quite a bit for it's best games. I think by the end of it's lifetime it will be the console with the far fewer exclusives, making it the most unappealing console if you're looking for a secondary console. But if you have an HDTV you're set for a good Blu-Ray player.
360 - Dumbed-down PC. Xbox 360 is cheaper than the average PC but it's online fees and more expensive games will ultimately make it just as expensive as a PC+upgrade if you buy around 6 games every year. Might aswell buy a 800$ PC that will last you for years. However if you're a single-platform gamer and you don't want to play on PC, then Xbox 360 is your best bet.
