I see karma as the work (or influence) of Abrahamic God.
Also, being good because you want to be a good person ( to be more like Christ) >>>> being good because you hope good things will happen to you later. One is like doing charity out of your good will and the other is like doing charity because you want people to admire you and gain publicity (like some celebs do)
