The challenge app did sooth a lot of the burn, but I still have seen anti-Ubisoft comments from Wii U owners over the last few days.

I hope the US follows suit. Though I can understand the animosity, this is the kind of game I feel Wii U owners should support; original, high quality, and not an inferior port.

The kinds of people who kick and scream on message boards are generally in the minority.  Unfortunately, I would have bought the game in February, but won't now.  Not a spite thing, but with all the games coming out for the Wii U over the holiday, I can't spend the money right now.

Same here. I planned to get a Wii U in the launch window for Pikmin 3 + Rayman. As it stands, I'm short on cash as I'm moving house, and once I have cash to spend again, games like Donkey Kong Country will be a higher priority than Rayman.

I was planning on buying it when it came out so I'd have something to play on my Wii U.  Wound up spending that money on Lego City.  With Pokemon X/Y, Link to the Past 2, Wii Party U, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario 3D World, Sonic Lost World, Batman Arkham Origins, Wonderful 101, and Pikmin 3, Rayman is at the bottom of a long list now.
