Blaming immigrants is an easy way to get out of looking at the real issues.
Welfare systems becoming bankrupt? It's the immigrants fault.
Overpopulated and underperforming schools? Immigrants fault.
High or rising crime? Immigrants fault.
High unemployment numbers? Immigrants fault.
Every single one of these have very real foundational faults causing their problems. But people are incapable of putting two and two together (thanks to the overpopulated and underperforming schools).
