I don't really follow game sales or forecast them at all, so maybe people who are more experienced can give me their opinions.

Is Splinter Cell: Blacklist doing poorly right now in terms of sales?

For example, Splinter Cell: Conviction had the following sales on the 360.

Global First Ten Weeks (Units)

Week EndingWeekWeeklyChangeTotal
17th April 2010 1 549,319 N/A 549,319

While these are the sales for Blacklist

360:

Global First Ten Weeks (Units)

Week EndingWeekWeeklyChangeTotal
24th August 2013 1 162,122 N/A 162,122

PS3:

Global First Ten Weeks (Units)

Week EndingWeekWeeklyChangeTotal
24th August 2013 1 257,866 N/A 257,866

I mean, combined these don't even meet the levels of its predecessor on the consoles. I might be naive, but I expect that the MAXIMUM the game will sell on consoles will be the amount that Conviction sold, and that's an best case scenario.

And then you bring in the fact that GTA V's coming out shortly and Xbox One and PS4 will launch (with all their launch games). On a purely marketing/awareness level, I think that Blacklist is just going to be completely swamped by these goliaths.

What do go you guys think?
