Animations are something I haven't seen anyone complain about, and not everyone believes the gameplay needs repairing. When I play Conan or God of War or Darksiders, the repetitive nature of the combat doesn't bother me. It won't here either. I love the brutality of it.

And this is just the co-op horde mode. I have read nothing but praise about the SP.

Uh what? You have seen the gifs people posted right? This is some PS2 level shit right there.

And GOW's combat is fast, fluid and satisfying. Every strike feels real. Not some stiff, stick vaveing, damage sponge, press A to awesome sorry excuse of a combat.
