For the most part, yes; but it depends on certain circumstances. For example, depending on the game engine you are using, you will have to pay more for the license to make the game for that particular console. Unity for example is extremely cheap, but something like Unreal Engine is very very expensive to get the license on consoles. Most indie games use Unity which is the reason why is cheap to make a console version.

Also, someone pledged $10k and will have a dinner with Inafune lol.  

That explains why tiny title I backed "Soul Saga" did not need much more to get Wii U and PS4 versions as stretch goals.  Thank you.
