A question for those planning to get a launch XB1 and, to a lesser extent, PS4.

Not really, worst comes to worse MS will up the warranty and I'll not have an Xbox One for 3 weeks. It's still unacceptable and shouldn't happen (and I don't think it will, they've been vocal about this) but that's worst case scenario so it's totally worth the risk for me personally.
