yes and i said "how doesn't it"

lol oops, guess I can reel back in my snarky-ness.

The grand point of it all is unchanged. PS4 is still more powerful in every manner. Additionally, games FAR more defined by what the GPU can do than by the CPU. So even if this 1.9GHz is semi-accurate (pun intended), it won't make a bit of difference in the potential differences in games between PS4 and Xbone.

Facts are PS4 can very well have games that look / run better than Xbone regardless if Xbone's CPU is 1.6GHz or 1.9GHz.

This entire thread is pointless in the grand scheme of things. Especially considering its someone's best guess based on a report of other information.

i editided both of my previous posts while you quote me^^

sure it is not much but still, if we forget once the whole xbox vs. playstation stuff and only think about people who buy an xbox one it can change something for them. maybe not much but a cpu with 1.9ghz instead of 1.6 can help developers and if it's only a little bit.

nobody will jump from ps4 to xbox one because of that but those who plan to buy an xbox one should be happy about it if true.

As far as I know, Sony hasn't revealed the PS4's CPU clock speed yet.

This is what I find interesting. The "leaks" state it is 1.6 and for the most part people kept throwing around those numbers because they were "spot on" from VGLeaks. Now Xbox One is rumored (i guess this is what it is) and now we are going to wait for Sony to announce numbers.

At this point, do people still care about those "leaks"?

I don't. I wish Sony would do a rundown of the PS4 hardware like MS did at HotChips.
