1) I'll give you that
2) 3D World hasn't come out yet and we don't know much about it, we can't say how it fits on a handheld
3) Awakening was structure with an overworld where you can do different missions in small amount of time. Radiant missions were longer plus HUGE cutscenes between mission, while Awakening only had a couple of really big cutscenes. Radiant Dawn doesn't fit on handhelds very well. Besides most FE games were on handhelds (with the same structure as Awakening)
4) Luigi's Mansion on the GC structure was basically the whole game on 1 go (4 or 5 chapters but those were really long). Dark Moon is structure with 15 min sections more or less.
5) Not a Nintendo game
6) Mario Kart game has been the same since the SNES, so it doesn't make sense.
7) Same as Mario Kart.
8) Not a Nintendo game
9) Not a Nintendo game
10) Same a Mario Kart, all 2D Mario games had the same structure, it's the nature of the game that just so happens to fit handhelds. The formula started with Mario World on the SNES.
Out of those 10 games you listed only 1 supports your argument.
