Best RPG's? I suppose the Final Fantasy franchise doesn't count.

Funny, I haven't actually seen a Final Fantasy game on the PS3 yet.

There is no question that the 360 has easily the best library of JRPG's and WRPG's.

I don't think the console will EVER lose it's WRPG dominance over the PS3. Furthermore, I think it will still hold it's own in JRPG's until at least two years after Final Fantasy XIII comes out.

Uh, the best RPG out on either system is Oblivion, and the better version is on PS3. PS3 is also getting Eternal Sonata, by all accounts an average RPG anyway. Fallout 3 will be on both. The only Western RPG advantage is Mass Effect, which will be balanced by White Knight Story (unless they aren't western). But whatever, the 360 has the advantage right now, but it won't last.

Incorrect.  White Knight Story is a JRPG, one with a combat system that is increasingly looking repetitive and boring.  Sony got Oblivion long after the 360 did, just as theyare getting ES and Overlord LONGafter.  Two Worlds is an excellent WRPG now that it has been patched, and MS has Fable 2 coming, it will easily be the best WRPG on any system this year.

So thats Mass Effect, Two Worlds and Fable 2 by the end of 2008 exclusive to 360.

And by the end of 2008 the PS3 won't have a single WRPG of note exclusive to the system.

As for JRPG's, do you really think that WKS stands up to ES, BD, LO, Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery and Tales?

Thanks for playing.
