well the people that had that issue have very little understanding of DRM in the first place.... it's the same that said sony has no DRM which is plain false... and that think the reverse policy means no DRM for XB just like sony does... which is also plain false... the DRM is just moved from one medium to an other....
and if third party want to lock resale they can on both consoles if they want to.... nothing has really changed... beside the inconvenience of going through specific retailers with the old XB policy.... everything else stayed absolutely the same for the customer.... just handled differently.... and with no return to devs....

Thanks!  I gave up trying to remind people DRM didn't go away, it just changed.  So if you buy a game on disk, it has to be in there - cause that is where the DRM is.

But does anyone know if there is still a region code in either a PS4 or Xbox One?  So can a USA one play all the movies from all around the world, or will it not play ones from Europe?

people still buy movies on discs ??? lol
well for DVDs it's a non issue by now people getting an XB1 probably have a DVD player already... and well for BR I have had one for 4 years free on my cable box... and I never bought a single BR... I rent or buy my movies in DD only now....

but good question for the one who cares... BR are gonna be the vinyls of the 21st century :)
