Guerilla Cambridge did incorporate some Magic in the code and we all know that magic isn't held back by the available processing power. Therefore the game looks and plays that smooth. Though writing magic in code is very difficult and only a few developpers have actually learned to control this power. The dark side of the magic is always used by Sony. Just look at games made by Naughty Dog, SSM and Guerilla. I hope I explained this well enough. 

 

For reals: It should even become much better since there is always more to get out of the system. I think within 2 years Guerilla Cambridge will be able to get the max out of the system. You can see that 3 years of work pays off which is normal for a huge game like this. The problem with handheld games is that they mostly get rushed. A game like Black ops should had at least 2 years of developing time.
