I fail to see the hyping of cloud computing beyond people drinking buzzword kool-aid

So... Since cloud computing records how you play have an ai of that playing with other people around the world even when your not... Does that mean if you crash into cars alot... your ai that is being played around alot will also crash into cars alot?
