I don't get what you're saying, here. The Wii U gamepad is a part of the Wii U--it doesn't get a free pass if that's causing a problem. The Wii U not having an install option likely has to do with the Wii U basic having very little internal storage--again, that's an aspect of the Wii U and does not deserve a free pass for it. If it receives a patch or not has nothing to do with right now. They cannot, and should not, assume that it will get a patch that fixes everything. Not being optimized or ported by the original team or not also has no bearing on the actual performance of the game. You can point it out, and if it's true, it's valid point to be annoyed about, but in a comparison, it simply does not matter. How many PS3 games would be better if the developers could redesign the game around the cell processor? It doesn't matter. I don't even care about which version is the best, they're all likely just fine. These articles are interesting to read but people get too wound up about minor differences. However, some of your points are immaterial. Digital Foundry should not be considering "what ifs" and hypotheticals when they're comparing the games in front of them. |
