Call me shallow or whatever you want, but based on the beta alone, this is an absolute 10 out of 10.
There's never been an FPS game as amazingly well designed and addictive on a portable platform as this, and that's likely not going to change anytime soon as no other platform has the same inputs as the Vita. But this game truly excels in just how well designed and how surprisingly enjoyable it is to play.
Oh and I think it goes without saying that graphically, Killzone Mercenary is the most stunningly beautiful game on any portable device; at least in terms of graphical technicality, one must be a daft to deny this obvious fact.
