2014 looks pretty solid for the PS4 to be honest.

Destiny (best console version on PS4?), inFamous: Second Son, Octodad, MGSV, Final Fantasy XV, more true next-gen versions of Madden NFL, FIFA, NHL, NBA 2K, and probably a lot more we don't know about yet (Uncharted 4 seems likely for Nov 2014).

I think Sony is really going to have to push the $100 price difference at least for the launch window. As you point out, there are really only two major exclusives, Killzone and Infamous (quality games, but not system sellers) in the launch window. Driveclub is no Gran Turismo so that is not helping much.

From an objective standpoint, I think we can agree MS threw a lot more money at grabbing exclusives for their launch window which has resulted in a better lineup (at least for launch). What MS has going against it is price, and bad press post E3.

They have already taken steps to combat the price with free game inclusions for some regions, but bad press is a much harder thing to fix.

Will be interesting to see sales 1-2 years in.... Will exclusives and kinect 2.0 sell the system? Will Wii U make a comeback? Will Sony be number one in sales after a surprise defeat last gen?

Will be a fascinating generation just from a sales point of view.

Me and my friends are litterally buying the PS4 at launch because of Killzone and InFamous.  Maybe they are not system sellers to you, but just because I think Halo is an exceptional example of a typical boring FPS with no soul, does not mean millions will not buy a system for that game...
