I think you summed it up quite well, Soundwave. I agree 100%. The only rabbits MS can pull out of the hat at this point are a $100 price cut (very painful but they've got truckloads of cash that I bet they'd be willing to burn in an effort to not lose market share to Sony) or some major exclusive coup, like NFL Sunday Ticket only on Xbox.
On that last point....stay tuned (no pun intended). I note that Sunday Ticket is no longer available on PS3 for the upcoming season and recent tv ads tout Xbox One as "the offical console of the NFL". This would be a huge feather in MS's cap if they can pull it off. The NFL loves money and MS has plently of it to throw around. But on the other hand, any such NFL deal will only really help Xbox sales in North America.
