If a 600 $ console would look like a pc version, then why would someone spend 2000-3000 thousands on a pc? The console graphics are just fine, but for someone who looks for graphics superiority, then there is no competition with a gamer pc. But I'd rather buy a 400-500 $ console that would be good for games the next 5 or so years, than buy a new 2k pc every 2 years to keep up with the best graphics.

everyone has a pc. to game on one people just buy more RAM and a gpu. plus, the games cost less so it saves money in the long run.

yeah but as the new processors and graphics cards come, they lose the compatibility with older motherboards and then you have to buy everything.
