I didn't know I've been operating my laptop with a gimmick for the last 12 years. I get where you're coming from though, will developers use it for what it's good for, pointer control for menu navigation and strategy planning, or only use it for a couple of rare special actions in games, like placing bombs in Killzone or walking a balance beam in Uncharted.
It would be great for a game like Valkyria chronicles or Baldur's gate style RPG.

If its used right then yeah im ok with it, but im still having nightmares of Lair all over again :P
