How do you expect the argument to end if you make staements like that?

He thinks the argument is pointless because there is a clear winner. Usually when that happens, there can be no legitimate argument from the opposite side.

That is the point of the argument isn't it? One group says more powerful and the other says the opposite. 

If you are sick of the argument, wouldn't you just say so and leave it at that?

There is no arguing. You can't argue facts.
