Jools has made it clear that they are absolutely not leaving Nintendo systems any time soon. But that doesn't mean they can't expand their business to more consoles. Considering their failure on Greenlight, I'd guess the PC and iOS versions of Mudds didn't sell too well compared to the 3DS version, so it's definitely possible that Renegade Kid is looking to Sony platforms in place of mobile devices. They could very easily become an eShop/PSN/PC multiplat developer.

Agreed, though I'm not sure whether I should be impressed with how well the game translates to the Vita's higher resolution considering the simple, deliberately retro style. Here are a couple more pics to drive the point home, though:
