I am pc and ps3 gamer. I am planning to get ps4 next year. Sometimes I get multiplatform games in ps3 and in future I will get multiplatform games in ps4. So it is important for me. Especially if they are not above or equal of acceptable level.

I understand since the PS3 is the only current gen console I own, but the main reason for that issue, as the articule highlights, is the complex architecture of the PS3. Cerny got rid of this problem with respect to the PS4 and it seems to be the easiest machine to program for, and it's also the most powerful of the 3, so with that said, it stands to reason PS4 gamers won't experience problems akin to the PS3 in relation to relatively poor ports. I think a petition is not necessary, unless you believe the power of the cloud will cause trouble for PS4 gamers later.

You are right. But I think this will sent a small message to developers to be a little careful about ps4 versions. I saw skyrim in my friends ps3 and it was horrible. So I think this is needed. I also think this petition won't draw a large group of people.

I know about Skyrim on PS3 all to well ... crashed me out 3 times. I was lucky since my PS3 was 2 months old at the time, but my friend wasn't so lucky and it screwed up his system. After Skyrim any game he put in would freeze, even those that didn't have freezing issues. So yea, I think it's important to have solid ports. We'll see how it goes. I'm not worried about shoddy ports. I think Wii U people have to worry about that. I'm more concerned about unfinished products that get shipped with the expectation of patching them up later. That's possible for any console.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS
