What you have is a low poly model. Obviously with better tech they can add more detail. Snake is a perfect example of this. Though his main feature remain the same there always tweaks and added detail with each game. Another example is advent Cloud Strife, his face looks radically different from his PS1 art. I think they did a passable job.

LOL... dude,Its not finished!. Just a basic model. You can tell that by looking at how detail-less that hair and pants are. The model still needs load of texture work... lolol.

Becomes even better when you notice his nose is actually red. I know this is internal and stuff, but wth, why did they portray him as having caught a cold?
